1There are many cheap places around disneyland that are quite nice. Many of the motels I have stayed at around there were fine, really you will have so much magic in the park it will be great! On Harbor there are TONS of motels/hotels. If you want the best deals I would say come in March/April/May it wont be to crowded, but it is dinseyland there will always be some crowds. I hope you have fun. Some good tips for in the park are DONT EAT THERE! there is a dennys right across the street, downt the street are some resurants,a pizza place. There are many good deals for the park if you dont go at peek time.

2Try Craig’s list for orange county calif. for a place to stay. Garden Grove is just due south of Disneyland and has places. Try finding a place close to Harbor Blvd. Buses run up and down there if you do not have a car. There are plenty of inexpensive hotel here in GG. I am 5 miles south if D.L and there are several reasonable hotels around here.

3You want to go when crowds are at their lowest, and still enjoy the beach and sun? Good luck with that one. The best times to go are during the Fall (all the kids are at school) and Winter (up until around Winter Break), because the crowds aren’t quite as bad. During the Spring, and especially during the Summer (all the kids are out of school), the crowds are generally pretty large.
So, enjoying the sun and sand, without the crowds, is unlikely to happen anytime soon. All you can do is go during slower days (Monday – Thursday) and hope for the best.

4It’s always (well almost always) sunny in California, so you wouldn’t have to worry about when you go. but there are ALWAYS gonna be crowds! They usually have the most around summertime
If you would like to give your daughter the full experience, you might want to stay at one of the Disneyland Resorts. There are three to choose from, Paradise Pier, Grand California Hotels and Spa, and the Disneyland hotel. how long are you staying? For a Standard View room, at the Paradise Pier for 2 days, that would cost $460

If you don’t wanna waste (well 2 me, it’s a waste, to you it might not be) all that money, i suggest staying at a nearby hotel, for about $75. It’s pretty much the same thing, and you’ll only be sleeping in your hotel, so i doubt you need the little luxuries Disneyland Hotels provide.
Tickets usually go down half the price once a year, for California residents. If your planning on doing a 2 day park hopper (disneyland and disney’s california adventure), that would cost quite a bit for you and ur child (if shes under 10)

You might want to buy your tickets in southern california where they’re a LOT cheaper

Food can be a bit ridiculously priced 2.
So a trip for 2 (not including airfare) for 2 days at a cheaper hotel, and 2day park hoppers, plus food, would probably be around… $400
Disneyland doesn’t give you much breaks. =]
but it’s so magical, i think it’s worth it

5I just wanted to add that weather is relative! It depends on what you are used to. In southern California people are very sensitive to small changes in temperature since there is not a wide range of temperature over the year. I’ve noticed people wearing coats, gloves and earmuffs when I ( not a native, but living in southern Cal.) am comfortable in a t-shirt and jeans. So if you are from the north, for example, you might be willing to swim at the beach all year in Orange County. I went to Wisconsin one summer and went swimming when at home, in Texas at the time, I would’ve been wearing a jacket. Go on-line and check out the weather in Orange County at different times of the year and compare it to your own.
