We are only going to the Disneyland park for one full day and I was wondering if there is a package deal for one day that includes going to Disney’s California Adventure park as well as Disneyland’s park. Please help and thanks!!
I am going to Europe (Hungary) this summer and I want to know with all the new rules with flying and the likes what I can and can’t do. I also can use a few tips on how to pack and the likes. I have guide books but for some reason they tend to omit certain personal oopses. I am also staying with family so I won’t be staying at a hotel.
This is my Disneyland Vacation Video. I bet there are people out there who like the different signs in front of Disneyland like I do, here is one in 1992. We see and go thru the parking lot which is now Disney’s California Adventure, thats neat. We get are tickets and see how much they were back in 1992. We go see Goofy and Roger Rabbit on Main Street USA and ride the horse Trolly up Main Street then go to Critter Country and see Bear Country Jamboree. Go to tomorrowland and board Star Tours and then go to Fantasyland and board It’s a Small World, and see a bit of the World According to Goofy Parade. We take the horse trolly back down Main Street while the Dapper Dans are crooning music to us from them sitting or standing in back of the Trolly. Minnie Mouse posing with children and a Disneyland band playing on Main Street. See you all at Disneyland!

The attraction takes 87 guests at a time on a s… (more) Added: November 20, 2007 The attraction takes 87 guests at a time on a simulated hang glider tour of the Golden State, flying over San Francisco, Redwood Creek, Napa Valley, Monterey, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, Palm Springs (actually shot in nearby La Quinta over the golf course at PGA West), Camarillo, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, San Diego, Malibu and Los Angeles. The ride ends with a flight over Disneyland at Christmas, with a Christmas parade traveling down Main Street, USA, decorations on Sleeping Beauty Castle, and fireworks. Ride design: The vehicle (called a carriage) consists of three rows of seats under a wing-like canopy. After guests have been safely restrained in the vehicle, the canopy descends and a cantilever system lifts the chairs forward and into the air with the guests’ feet dangling free. The vehicle is lifted into a huge IMAX dome movie screen onto which scenes of California are projected. Since the vehicle is moved forward into the dome, the effect is such that guests can only see the images projected on the screen and are given the sensation of flight. To enhance the illusion of flight, subtle vertical movements of the seats are synchronized to the film. According to cast members who operate this attraction, the carriages do not move horizontally. Sensations of horizontally are created via a combination of vertical carriage movement and the turning image on the screen. In …

Original Air Date: May 27th, 2009 Mickey Mouse sure is popular in Japan! There are a number of Japan-only Mickey Mouse games, some better than others. In this Mickey Mouse game published by TOMY, you’re out to stop old Pete as you travel through various Tokyo Disneyland attractions using balloons and find your friends so you can rehearse for a parade. Balloons? Yes, balloons! This isn’t the first game Mickey uses Balloons either. In Mickey Mouse III: Yume Fuusen for the Famicom, Mickey also uses balloons… and that game actually came to the US, well, sorta. It was changed to “Kid Klown in Night Mayor World”… a game in Kemco’s “Kid Klown” series. Visually, this game is surprisingly good and is pretty comparable to the Capcom Mickey games. The sound is also pretty good, but the gameplay is an acquired taste, if only for the slippery controls. Mickey has two kinds of balloons. The first kind are water balloons (blue) and can defeat enemies, put out fires and even be used as boosts for jumps and pressing down switches. The second are helium/gas balloons (yellow/orange) and can be used to float about and travel under various instances. This game may look simple enough and you get a lot of life, but the game is deceptively difficult and you will die very often if you fly about randomly. This would be an interesting game for those TAS folks, but playing it normally can be an exercise in frustration, though you are awarded with passwords after levels. Overall, this is a fun …
im 14 and my mom and dad asked me if id rather go to las vegas or disneyland or disneyworld. (the one in florida)
Im not much a ride kid. which one should i choose?
I will be traveling in New Mexico in January. I’ll spend a few days in Roswell, a week near Taos and then a couple of days in Santa Fe. I’m not much of a hiker or biker (especially in high altitudes). I love exploring regional cuisines, funky shops, outsider art and places of historical or artistic significance. What are some insider suggestions that I might not get from a guidebook? Specific info is good!
I’m thinking about the hot springs near Taos; would you recommend going?

I want to visit the historical places in England, Italy and France but I don’t know which is better, using train or by flight. Regarding train, I don’t know which one to choose because they are too many of them and the fares are a bit complicated. And I have 3 weeks to spend. This is my first time to travel to Europe. I also have issue with accomodation. Any suggestion on good hotel or a house/apartment to stay?

I am going to disneyland/southern california with my boyfriend’s family and I don’t know what to pack. I am staying in my own room, and I am 18 years old. We are going for 7 days, and we will be in disneyland for most of the time, but we are going to other places too. They don’t really plan ahead for their vacations, so I don’t know exactly what clothes to pack, but i don’t want to NOT have something that i need during the vacation…help please!!
I am going to Disneyland/Souther California with my boyfriend’s family and I have never gone on vacation before without my own family, so I don’t really know what i need to pack. I want to be prepared for anything that we do, but I also want to avoid packing way too much and having to pay extra for my baggage and stuff. Also, how much money should I take with me so that they don’t have to pay for everything? We will be in disneyland most of the time, but they said we will also go other places. If you have any suggestions on the best ways to pack or what clothes to bring, etc. that would be great!!! By the way, we are going for about a week.
We are traveling to Denver. We are going to rent a car and drive to Yellowstone. Does anyone have any car rental advice? Any Amtrak tips? (traveling with a 5yo and a 8 yo) Any help at all with be appreciated.
Part 3 – General Electric’s Carrousel of Progress During the 1960’s, Walt Disney was working very hard to create new attractions at Disneyland that would feature Audio Animatronics. Meanwhile, he heard that a World’s Fair was being planned and he wanted to use this as an oppurtunity to test these new robotic figures. He got the sponsors of four big companies: Ford, General Electric, State of Illinois and Pepsi Cola. Here he created some of the most importatn attractions ever created for a theme park. He created The Magic Skyway (Ford), The Carrousel of Progress (General Electric), Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln (State of Illinois), and It’s a Small World (Pepsi). Now, through this time machine, we will see these old attractions in their original state and see how truly sacared they are to the development to Disneyland. We are looking to book our first Disneyland vacation for either September or next January..which month would be best (like warm weather)? We prefer to avoid crowds of people and not wait in line for hours on end. Is there another time of the year that would be better than September or mid-January?
Where is best place to stay near Disneyland, CA (hotel) – we don’t mind walking (is it safe and close by?)..are the Disney hotels worth the price?
We were also looking at booking a package deal to also visit SeaWorld or Universal Hollywood, but was not sure on what to see, or, if it was too ‘mature’ for our 3 yr old. Any info and tips are GREATLY appreciated! This will be our first time to California, and are very VERY excited!!
One of the hotels we were are looking into is the Hyatt Regency Irvine, how would anyone rate this hotel? Is there a better one? Should we rent a car too, or, is there transportation? We are always up for an adventure!!
I posted a question mainly for secrets and got a bunch of good replies. For this one, I’m looking for other tips and hints as well. Maybe something to look out for on a ride. Or a line that seems to be faster than another on a certain ride. Stuff like that. and anything else! Feel free to post whatever you know. It can even be a secret and doesn’t have to be little known! Anything about Disneyland that is interesting and fun, I’ll like. Thanks!
