i am going on a 3 month trip to several countries in south east asia in a few weeks. most of the single trip travel insurance policies i have looked at need you to select a destination, and worldwide insurance is usually in an annual multi-trip policy. any ideas about the cheapest way to get decent cover would be appreciated.

I swear to god everybody I know has been there except me 
I was supposed to go back in 2005 but I did not have a passport at the time. I brought it up a few times later and my parents say I’m too old for it. I’m 17 by the way. They also say it’s all old and run down. They went there back in 1990 I think.
Anyways, I still have the Disneyland vacation videotape from 10 years ago XD Is there anyone here who hasn’t been there? And what is it like there? I really want to go there someday

Planning a trip in September for our anniversary, I really don’t want to spend the extra money for a Disney Park hotel since we’re traveling without the kid, but there are so many Good Neighbor hotels I’m having a hard time choosing one. I’m willing to pay for a better hotel, but 1500 for 4 nights ( the Grand Californian rate, yikes) is too much. Any opinions or suggestions out there?

First hand experience? I have two young girls and waiting in line wouldn’t be fun. My good friend went this past summer and he said some of the lines were THREE HOURS – that is hell, not a vacation! Waiting three hours for a three minute ride is a total waste – IMHO.
When is the best time of the year (Month and day of week) in order to avoid crowds?

Ok, well I have NEVER been on an airplane. I’m 16, and this summer I’m going to Costa Rica with spanish teachers, and then after I get back from that 2 week trip, I’m flying to Florida BY myself to be a nanny for about a month…I’m so nervous!!
Any advice about air travel? And more advice about when I go by myself? I’m way scared…also, what to pack? Can you bring a pillow and blanket with you on the plane?

Watch in 480p (high quality). In this 7th video, it first shows you us riding the Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Resue ride. I filmed most of the ride here. Then at 2:39, it shows the entrance to a very cool arcade! It was already around 8 pm and we were about to go watch the fireworks back at Disneyland. However, we were glued to the elecTRONica at the Hollywood Pictures Backlot. Then at 4:00 in the video, we made it back to Disneyland to view the “Magical, A Fireworks Spectacular” show. We got a good view of the show on Main Street USA It shows the finale/climax of the show at 5:10 in the video. It was truly magical and beautiful! To be honest, when you go to Disneyland, especially during the fireworks displays, you forget your ordinary life back home It was very crowded after the fireworks, you can’t even see the road of Main Street, especially at 6:09 in the video! We wanted to go back to Adventureland to ride more rides but the Disneyland Railroad was closed until 10:30 probably due to the fireworks. Then at 7:32 in the video, it shows us going to ride the Indiana Jones ride once again. After that, it was followed by the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I got to take some footage of the ride. So sit back and enjoy the ride This evening was the latest we went home. It was already 12:32 am and we just got on the shuttle to go back to our hotel. All of us were beat from this long and fun day! It shows our exhaustion at about 15:55 in the video. I almost fell …

What is your favorite Disney’s Vacation Club Resort in Walt Disney World? I know that the Grand Californian in Disneyland, CA is great to! Out of the DVC Resorts in Disney World, FL, which is your favorite? I’ve stayed at all of them and have a hard time choosing a favorite! My faves would have have to be Bay Lake Tower, Beach Club Villas, and the Villas at Wilderness Lodge! (:

My daughter is a contestant in the Miss America 2008 competition. It will take place in Jan. in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood Resort.
Can someone give me advice on where to stay? I know that PH is very expensive. I will be there for 8 nights and I will be traveling with children and 2 other adults. My budget is limited as well.
Tips on what to do during the day would be great also. And advice on family shows too.

Me and my boyfriend are planning on a little disneyland vacation for about 2 days for our 2 year anniversary. We’re planning on going to disneyland and disney california this coming April, we live by san diego, close to camp pendelton so gas won’t be such a problem.
But anyway I have a militray discount on the tickets and I will be buying them on base at the ITT store but I haven’t been there to know how much two tickets for both theme parks would cost. And we also need a hotel room to stay in for just one night, how much would a good and acceptable hotel room cost? And we also need money for dining and entertainment when we get there? How much would everything be?

yea it’s going to be on a weekday and we’re most likely going to eat inside the park for both lunch and dinner and we will also want souvenirs from both stores and rides.

So the whole point is there is no plan, I get a one way ticket to England (don’t ask, but I’ve always wanted to travel that area) Then I don’t really care where I go as long as it is fun and adventurous! If you have cool suggestions that would be great. This trip should take a year at least and knowing me, I probably won’t have enough money to fly everywhere so mostly it will be me and my backpack (which is totally exiting if you want my opinion!) I’ve been to most of Europe and Northern India which was great and I totally recomend it. So, by this over exited analisis of my previous travel experience, where do you think I should go?

We are planning on going on vacation to one of them the first week of June, and really just want to go to the one thats least crowded.
I know that the summer will be crowded, but we cant go during the school year next year, so we need to go this summer.

Off to a wedding in Vegas mid August and rather than just have a few days and then come home again, two of us going to have a bit of a road trip and head towards the west coast. We’re thinking a bit of leisurely travel probably ending up in San Francisco so just wondering if anyone has done that kind of thing or can recommend things to see and do along the way.

This summer I want to go on a vacation with me, my best friend, and my parents. We really like sunny areas with nice beaches.
We were thinking somewhere in the Hawaii Islands, Australia, Carribeans, or Disneyland even (it doesn’t fit our description, but we have a nice time anyway)
if there’s something like scuba diving or snorkeling, that would be amazing, and also we’re on a low budget so the cheaper the better.
