What parks are a BIG HIT and sites that are a MUST SEE for kids under 10 years of age? I am only doing 3 parks, but I want the ones that the kids will enjoy and get the most excitement out of.
my bad, it is Disneyworld in FLORIDA. THANKS.

4Sounds like you’re talking about Walt Disney World near Orlando, not Disneyland in Anaheim. If kids are your motivation, the Magic Kingdom ranks top on the list. Since you’re only doing three parks, you may want to pass on EPCOT. That park is really geared more toward adults. Your children would probably find World Showcase very boring since it’s mostly shops and restaurants, and Future World can be fun but my niece and nephew have compared it to going to a museum. Disney-MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom have a lot more kid-friendly attractions.

11Good for you for taking your kids to the mecca of all theme parks! They will have the best time. It really depends on your kids which 3 parks out of the 4 are best. EPCOT has some interesting stuff for kids if they enjoying learning about history, technology and human progress on planet earth…better for older elementary aged kids or adolescents, though young children like the aquarium aspect and Nemo additions in the Living Seas (an area in Future World inside Epcot). EPCOT is more about learning and less about riding rides, as it doesn’t have many rides, though there are a few good ones (Test Track, Mission: SPACE, the new addition of Soarin’, first created at Disneyland). World Showcase (another area inside EPCOT) is a lotta walking, not much to do or see for kids, though some of the outdoor entertainment is neat (like the acrobats in China, and the Taiko drummers in Japan, and the Mariachis in Mexico). They also have a night time show, Illuminations which is pretty cool, over the lagoon.
Magic Kingdom is the BEST for children of all ages, it has the most rides and shows, parades and fireworks, and character interaction; it is what most kids think of when they think "Disney". You can’t go wrong with any attraction in the MK…you and your kids will love them all!
Animal Kingdom is part zoo/conservation awareness education and part theme park. It has some good attractions, the best being Kilimanjaro Safaris (be sure to go in the early morning when the animals are more lively) and the "Its Tough to Be a Bug" 3D show. Expedition Everest is supposed to be great too. Try to see Tarzan, you’ll be glad you spent $2500 on this vacation when you do. Wooo, he looks like the real deal, loincloth and all….(musing to self…) Oh yeah, what was I talking about..??
MGM Studios is fun; the whole Hollywood atmosphere. Don’t miss Voyage of the Little Mermaid (an indoor show), MuppetVision 3D, the Great Movie Ride and Star Tours. Brave kids may also take on the Tower of Terror and the Rock ‘n Roller Coaster (my personal favorite!)
To be honest, you may want to budget more time at the Magic Kingdom as it has far more to do and see than any of the other parks. (In my opinion, Animal Kingdom and MGM Studios have the least to do. But you can check it out for yourself on the disneyworld.com website) Beware– you are going at one of, if not THE busiest time of the year, and lines will be long. You may want to look at the disneyworld.com site and explore the virtual maps they have there, and talk about what you’d most like to do with your kids (you can check out each ride there as well) so you can have a plan of your own "must-see"s before you go.
Good luck and have fun!

12No matter where you go, be sure to ask when you first get on a ride (or in a line) about the parent swap program and what to do. Most parks have this now. If a parent has to stay back to watch the other kids who can’t or won’t ride a ride, after the other parent gets off the ride, the waiting parent gets one the ride asap, bypassing the lines (they usually have you go in the exit). It’s an awesome program that saves a lot of time and does not leave one parent out. Have fun!
