Our Disneyland Summer Vacation in Anaheim, CA (June 26-30, 2011) Video Part 8

            Sunday, July 31st, 2011

Watch in 480p (high quality). In this 8th and last video, it first shows you our last morning here at Travelodge hotel. We were going to go Downtown Disney to do some last minute souvenir shopping. I ate my Jack-in-the-Box burger for breakfast. That was suppose to be for the previous night. My sister and Richie actually went out to get a bite to eat for dinner, even if the time was already around 1 am! At about 0:58 in the video, it shows us packing, getting ready to leave :( We were then on the way to pick up Rei from his apartment. Beautiful views while on the way to Rei’s and to the Downtown Disney. Looks like Hollywood along the roads! At 3:38 in the video, it shows us back at Downtown Disney. They have a beautiful Rainforest Cafe here! We went to the World of Disney store first to do some shopping. Then we wanted to eat a bit of a snack at the Napolini restaurant/bakery. I had a dough-knot. It was Parmesan and garlic. Not really satisfying though, just wanted to try something new. I should’ve got the pizza, ayah! After the snack, we went back to the World of Disney store to do some more last minute shopping. Then we gathered together at about 6:47 in the video to decide what’s the plan now. The plan was…. to go buy more beignets to bring home. A beignet is a French doughnut that is a deep-fried choux pastry. We all said our good-byes at 7:40 in the video. Then at 7:54 in the video, it shows us do our long stretch back to reality. Good-bye Anaheim, CA… :( While on

Our Disneyland Summer Vacation in Anaheim, CA (June 26-30, 2011) Video Part 6

                Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

Watch in 480p (high quality). In this 6th video, it first shows you us enjoy the beauty of the Sleeping Beauty castle viewed from Main Street USA Lianne wanted to see the princesses so we headed to the Princess Fantasy Faire. We saw Cinderella, Belle and Pocahontas. There was also a show. It was dancing with the princesses! No footage taken due to the fact I had to video with my friend’s camcorder. Then at 2:21, it shows us at the Pixie Hollow area to meet Silvermist and Tinkerbell. By the way, Lianne got a nice facial tattoo. She looks like a princess! Then back at Main Street USA, we saw a nice drumming parade (shown at about 4:03 in video). At this time, we were waiting for one of our friends to use the restroom. I wanted one balloon! Then at 4:32 in the video, it shows me once again waiting for everyone else to finish riding the Splash Mountain ride while I guard their excess stuff along with Lianne. We then walked back to Main Street USA for a bit of shopping. But however, it was a perfect timing to see Mickey’s Soundsational Parade! Then later in the afternoon, at about 10:54 in the video, we went back to the California Adventure to see Aladdin. Actually it was only me, Rochelle and Lianne since the others wanted to ride more of the big rides, haha. Sorry had to mute it AGAIN. Then at 13:04 in the video, it shows us travel to the “it’s a bug’s land” since Lianne wanted to get wet. Wow, I feel like I am dwarfed in there! Lianne was having too much fun getting soaked

Our Disneyland Summer Vacation in Anaheim, CA (June 26-30, 2011) Video Part 4

                  Sunday, July 24th, 2011

Watch in 480p (high quality). In this 4th video, it shows our 2nd full day here. We will first go to Disneyland and then to California Adventure this day. Once it was 10 am, California Adventure opened. So we quickly entered at about 2:36 in the video. A small miniature GG Bridge of San Francisco marks the entrance of the park. We first went to go ride the Little Mermaid ride. It’s their newest ride there. So it shows you most of the ride starting at 3:58 in the video. Next off, we were off to ride Mickey’s Fun Wheel. I was the only one who rode the one that wasn’t swinging. All the others went on the one that swings….sorry, I get motion sickness easily! At least I got to enjoy the view from up there. Wow, pretty high! I could even see Disneyland from here! Then we were on the way to the Pacific Wharf to eat some lunch here at California Adventure. It was already passed 12:30 pm I got Asian Rice Bowl Chicken Teryaki. Delicious! There was live music around the food court area. Then at about 13:08 in the video, it shows us at the “It’s tough to be a bug”. We weren’t allowed to film in there unfortunately. Continuation of our fun here at California Adventure is on Video Part 5. Enjoy!

Our Disneyland Summer Vacation in Anaheim, CA (June 26-30, 2011) Video Part 3

                    Wednesday, July 20th, 2011

Watch in 480p (high quality). In this 3rd video, it first shows you our ride through “it’s a small world”. It’s one of my favorite, serene rides :) Then as late afternoon arrived, we went to Mickey’s Toon Town. One of us was having too much fun at about 5:00 in the video haha! Then at about 5:44 in the video, it shows us ride the Disneyland Railroad Train to the New Orleans Square so we can watch the nightly Fantasmic show, one of my favorites as well! At 9:14 in the video shows the grand finale of the show. Continuation of our fun here in Anaheim, CA is on Video Part 4. Enjoy!

Our Disneyland Summer Vacation in Anaheim, CA (June 26-30, 2011) Video Part 2

                        Sunday, July 17th, 2011

Watch in 480p (High Quality). In this 2nd video, it shows you us ride on the Jungle Cruise ride at Adventureland. Then at 4:39, it shows you the Haunted Mansion ride. It was pretty scary/freaky! I tried to film the ride but it was a bit too dark, sorry. We also met a few more Disney characters around the Critter Country. We also took a nice walk along the Rivers of America. Then we were on the way to ride Indiana Jones. It was too bumpy to take footage. This was my favorite ride here at Disneyland! I lost count to how many times I rode this ride. Then at 7:47 in the video, it shows us just rest in the shade at Tomorrowland due to the daytime heat and sun. Lianne was fast asleep already in her stroller. We also took a quick look at the Sleeping Beauty castle. Then at about 8:18 in the video, it shows the Rivers of America and a couple of its ships. This was during the time I was waiting for the others to finish riding the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland. Then later in the afternoon, we went to the Fantasyland to get a photo with Tangled and then we rode the King Arthur Carrousel. Continuation of our fun here is on Video Part 3. Enjoy!

Splash Mountain – Disneyland – Anaheim, California – Complete Ride

                          Saturday, July 16th, 2011

Take a musical journey aboard a hollowed-out log through a colorful bayou populated with cheerful critters. One of the most elaborate Disneyland Park attractions, Splash Mountain culminates in a daring approximately 5-story plunge down rustic Chick-A-Pin Hill. During the approximately 9-minute water flume voyage, a cast of 103 backwoods critters tell the tale of carefree Brer Rabbit’s plucky escapades as he strikes out on his own in search of a little bit of adventure. Drift past unforgettable sights and sounds that recreate memorable scenes from the classic Disney film Song of the South — including the pursuit of the crafty Brer Rabbit by the scheming Brer Fox and his bumbling partner in crime, Brer Bear. You can preview the climatic plunge from the front of Splash Mountain and get a sense of what you are in for. Or can you? The logs appear to race down Chick-A-Pin Hill towards the Briar Patch…and then mysteriously disappear with a tremendous splash. Brer Rabbit’s cunning only gets him so far. Eventually he is captured by Brer Fox and Brer Bear. Brer Rabbit pleads with them, do anything to him, except throw him down the thorny Briar Patch…which is exactly what they plan to do. And you’re along for the ride! Don’t worry! Brer Rabbit has a secret. Far from fearing the Briar Patch, it is actually his secret hideaway: his laughing place. Take the plunge down Splash Mountain and discover Brer Rabbit’s laughing place for yourself! Most riders will get wet during their

Our Disneyland Summer Vacation in Anaheim, CA (June 26-30, 2011) Video Part 5

                            Tuesday, July 12th, 2011

Watch in 480p (high quality). In this 5th video, I had to mute a chunk off due to copyright issues. Better off to sacrifice a part of the video than risking the entire video being taken down… Anyways, it first shows us walk through the Hollywood Pictures Backlot at California Adventure. We were on the way to see the Aladdin show. Sorry, I had to mute it. Enjoy the show though :) Then at 5:40 in the video, it shows the Incredibles mini parade in front of the Hollywood Tower of Terror ride. This was during the time when I waited for the others to finish riding the Hollywood Tower of Terror. I was too scared to ride that one. Then we walked back to the Paradise Pier (shown at 6:34 in video). They wanted to ride the California Screamin’ ride. Me ride? No thanks! At least they had someone to watch over their excess stuff :) Then at 7:30 in the video, it shows us walk through the Grand Californian Hotel into Downtown Disney. We wanted to get a bite to eat before watching the World of Color back at Paradise Pier. At about 8:33 in the video, we saw the fireworks, maybe from the nightly “Magical, A Fireworks Spectacular” show back in Disneyland. We then rode on “Soarin’ Over California”. Somehow, we still didn’t have enough fun so we again went back to Disneyland! Then at 10:14 in the video, it shows our 3rd day here. It was actually cloudy this morning which was good, it’s not too hot for us. We then first rode the Matterhorn Bobsleds. Again, it was too bumpy for footage

How much would this cost? (Disneyland vacation)?

                                    Thursday, June 23rd, 2011

My best friend and I are both turning 16 and our parents said we could drive to Anaheim from San Fransisco to stay in the motel 6 across the street and get 6 day parkhopper tickets (250 dollars) If we split the money to drive down, bring junkfood like ramen and stuff (so dont include food in our price) and split going to a motel six, do you think its possible to make this a 500 dollar vacation?

                                    Remember thats for:
driving from San fransisco to southern California (splitting the gas)
                                    250 dollars for disnyland tickets
and 5 nights at motel 6?

500 dollars EACH meaning a 1000 dollar vacation. Is this possible? Also, how can we save money if it isnt?

Attraction: “Captain EO” Park: Disneyland Park (Anaheim, CA) Date of visit: March 14, 2010 My first review of an amusement park attraction, in this case, “Captain EO” at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. “The Front Row” is the current name for my new internet show, where I review attractions and shows from various amusement/theme parks, most of them being Disney. I know the quality of this review is a bit low compared to other review videos, but this was something that I am interested in doing, and I hope people will enjoy this review. Still trying to plan our Disneyland vacation where we plan to spend half in Anaheim, half in either Carlsbad or San Diego. I am getting frustrated trying to find a high rated, reasonably priced hotel and deal with tickets to the places we want to go, etc. I have never used a travel agent before and am wondering is it worthwhile – Cost and for good planning?

The Tropical Imports shop used to sell you rubber snakes and shrunken and life size human skulls. It was a little macabre, but it fit into Adventureland of yesterday. I bought a life size glow in the dark skull when i was like, 10 (1985ish) man, those were the days.

The attraction was in the opening day roster of the park, and has remained open and largely unchanged in theme and story since then. Aside from alterations and maintenance changes, four completely new show scenes have been added to date. In 1995 the river channel was rerouted to make way for the queue buildings and entrance courtyard of the Indiana Jones Adventure. While the current version and most previous instances have made use of a comedic spiel, filled with intentionally bad puns, the original intent of the ride was to provide a realistic, believable voyage through the world’s jungles. The original spiel had no jokes and sounded much like the narration of a nature documentary. [edit]Attraction summary The queue and station are themed as the headquarters and boathouse of a River Expedition Company, located in a (presumably British) Colony of the 1930s. The queuing area is cluttered with appropriate props, such as pinned insects under glass, an old radio on top of the bookshelf, and a chessboard with miniature animals and decorated shotgun shells replacing the pieces. The extended queue winds upstairs, underneath an animatronic hornbill, and then downstairs again. Big band music from the 1930s plays overhead, punctuated by jungle-related news bulletins by the legendary fictional character Albert Awol, helping to reinforce the setting and threading together the show scenes and boat.[4] Once aboard the boats, the guests are introduced to their skipper and they head into
