Our Disneyland Summer Vacation in Anaheim, CA (June 26-30, 2011) Video Part 7

Monday, August 29th, 2011

Watch in 480p (high quality). In this 7th video, it first shows you us riding the Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Resue ride. I filmed most of the ride here. Then at 2:39, it shows the entrance to a very cool arcade! It was already around 8 pm and we were about to go watch the fireworks back at Disneyland. However, we were glued to the elecTRONica at the Hollywood Pictures Backlot. Then at 4:00 in the video, we made it back to Disneyland to view the “Magical, A Fireworks Spectacular” show. We got a good view of the show on Main Street USA It shows the finale/climax of the show at 5:10 in the video. It was truly magical and beautiful! To be honest, when you go to Disneyland, especially during the fireworks displays, you forget your ordinary life back home :) It was very crowded after the fireworks, you can’t even see the road of Main Street, especially at 6:09 in the video! We wanted to go back to Adventureland to ride more rides but the Disneyland Railroad was closed until 10:30 probably due to the fireworks. Then at 7:32 in the video, it shows us going to ride the Indiana Jones ride once again. After that, it was followed by the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I got to take some footage of the ride. So sit back and enjoy the ride :) This evening was the latest we went home. It was already 12:32 am and we just got on the shuttle to go back to our hotel. All of us were beat from this long and fun day! It shows our exhaustion at about 15:55 in the video. I almost fell

Our Disneyland Summer Vacation in Anaheim, CA (June 26-30, 2011) Video Part 6

      Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

Watch in 480p (high quality). In this 6th video, it first shows you us enjoy the beauty of the Sleeping Beauty castle viewed from Main Street USA Lianne wanted to see the princesses so we headed to the Princess Fantasy Faire. We saw Cinderella, Belle and Pocahontas. There was also a show. It was dancing with the princesses! No footage taken due to the fact I had to video with my friend’s camcorder. Then at 2:21, it shows us at the Pixie Hollow area to meet Silvermist and Tinkerbell. By the way, Lianne got a nice facial tattoo. She looks like a princess! Then back at Main Street USA, we saw a nice drumming parade (shown at about 4:03 in video). At this time, we were waiting for one of our friends to use the restroom. I wanted one balloon! Then at 4:32 in the video, it shows me once again waiting for everyone else to finish riding the Splash Mountain ride while I guard their excess stuff along with Lianne. We then walked back to Main Street USA for a bit of shopping. But however, it was a perfect timing to see Mickey’s Soundsational Parade! Then later in the afternoon, at about 10:54 in the video, we went back to the California Adventure to see Aladdin. Actually it was only me, Rochelle and Lianne since the others wanted to ride more of the big rides, haha. Sorry had to mute it AGAIN. Then at 13:04 in the video, it shows us travel to the “it’s a bug’s land” since Lianne wanted to get wet. Wow, I feel like I am dwarfed in there! Lianne was having too much fun getting soaked

Our Disneyland Summer Vacation in Anaheim, CA (June 26-30, 2011) Video Part 4

        Sunday, July 24th, 2011

Watch in 480p (high quality). In this 4th video, it shows our 2nd full day here. We will first go to Disneyland and then to California Adventure this day. Once it was 10 am, California Adventure opened. So we quickly entered at about 2:36 in the video. A small miniature GG Bridge of San Francisco marks the entrance of the park. We first went to go ride the Little Mermaid ride. It’s their newest ride there. So it shows you most of the ride starting at 3:58 in the video. Next off, we were off to ride Mickey’s Fun Wheel. I was the only one who rode the one that wasn’t swinging. All the others went on the one that swings….sorry, I get motion sickness easily! At least I got to enjoy the view from up there. Wow, pretty high! I could even see Disneyland from here! Then we were on the way to the Pacific Wharf to eat some lunch here at California Adventure. It was already passed 12:30 pm I got Asian Rice Bowl Chicken Teryaki. Delicious! There was live music around the food court area. Then at about 13:08 in the video, it shows us at the “It’s tough to be a bug”. We weren’t allowed to film in there unfortunately. Continuation of our fun here at California Adventure is on Video Part 5. Enjoy!

Our Disneyland Summer Vacation in Anaheim, CA (June 26-30, 2011) Video Part 5

          Tuesday, July 12th, 2011

Watch in 480p (high quality). In this 5th video, I had to mute a chunk off due to copyright issues. Better off to sacrifice a part of the video than risking the entire video being taken down… Anyways, it first shows us walk through the Hollywood Pictures Backlot at California Adventure. We were on the way to see the Aladdin show. Sorry, I had to mute it. Enjoy the show though :) Then at 5:40 in the video, it shows the Incredibles mini parade in front of the Hollywood Tower of Terror ride. This was during the time when I waited for the others to finish riding the Hollywood Tower of Terror. I was too scared to ride that one. Then we walked back to the Paradise Pier (shown at 6:34 in video). They wanted to ride the California Screamin’ ride. Me ride? No thanks! At least they had someone to watch over their excess stuff :) Then at 7:30 in the video, it shows us walk through the Grand Californian Hotel into Downtown Disney. We wanted to get a bite to eat before watching the World of Color back at Paradise Pier. At about 8:33 in the video, we saw the fireworks, maybe from the nightly “Magical, A Fireworks Spectacular” show back in Disneyland. We then rode on “Soarin’ Over California”. Somehow, we still didn’t have enough fun so we again went back to Disneyland! Then at 10:14 in the video, it shows our 3rd day here. It was actually cloudy this morning which was good, it’s not too hot for us. We then first rode the Matterhorn Bobsleds. Again, it was too bumpy for footage

Planning a trip to Disneyland?? Need Vacation package information/ideas?

              Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

My husband & I are planning a 8 day trip this coming October. We are buying the "Southern California City Pass" which allows 3 whole days ( hopper pass) at Disneyland & California Adventure plus one day at the following places: 1) Universal Studio Hollywood, 2) San Diego Sea World & our choice of EITHER San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal park.

We are getting AAA & we currently have our costco card which we will inquire on specials with them but are wondering who else should we try to look into .

We are hoping anyone out there can give us ideas and/or share any experiences they had with buying "Vacation Packages".

We also like to note, we plan on staying at Disneyland Hotel for 5 NIGHTS then we will stay at a San Diego hotel for an additional 2-3 NIGHTS.

We know this trip is gonna costs over several thousand dollars to include food, hotel, tickets, etc but we want to make it worth our wild. We are still trying to save some money to buy gifts 4 family.

              Please help…

Disney’s World of Color Preview of Upcoming Attractions – Disney’s California 2010

              Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

Disney’s World of Color is a new nighttime show scheduled to premiere on June 11, 2010 at Disney’s California Adventure, part of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Designed by Walt Disney Creative Entertainment, this show is planned to have more than 1200 fountains[1] and includes lasers, lights, and fire with high-definition projections on mist screens similar to the ones used in Fantasmic! at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Mark Hammond and Dave Hamilton arranged the music.

What is the best Disneyland vacation book to get?

              Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010

I’m going to Disneyland California in a few weeks and I want to learn everything there is to know about Disneyland and California Adventure. My friend had told me some fun trivia about Pirates Of The Caribbean and I want to know more. I also want to know how to save a couple of bucks on the trip. Is there a book out there with this information?

Disney Vacation Deals Opening June 11 World of Color Dances to Life

              Sunday, June 6th, 2010

How are the fountains in the World of Color dancing?

The virtually 1,200 fountains in the World of Color jump to life in a astonishing prove, combining color, water, fire, music – and dancing! The fountains grow to be the "stars of the show," becoming almost like humans moving.

Walt Disney Imagineers look for talented dancer and choreographer Joshua Horner as they endeavored to fill the fountains with liveliness, personality and effusive passion all the way through the fluid splendor of dance. Watch how Walt Disney Imagineers are encouraged by Horner as he dances his way throughout the World of Color. It’s a captivating and unique peek at how this nocturnal water magnificent show came to life.

                Disneyland vacation?

                Thursday, May 20th, 2010

Hello! Okay my boyfriend wants to take me to Disneyland for my birthday in September. I offered to help with the cost where ever possible. So we live in Arizona, and we’ll be driving there, which is a 6 hour drive. I figure 0 will be more than enough for gas. Then… when we get there, he will have already taken care of the hotel/suite (lodging, etc). I’m paying for the admission fees for Disneyland and California Adventure, that’s per person.

So how much money should the both of us need to bring along on this trip? Including dining, bars, entertainment, etc? He’s 24, and I’m 25. =)

                Thanks.
                Would 0 be enough?
Mind you, I hate math and figuring this stuff out. I have a BA in English, that’s why. LOL
I just figure people in L.A. or others who have driven to Disneyland know how much money a couple should have on them as far as spending money goes?
