This is source audio of the audio loop (with droid chatter) played inside the “Droid Room”, a section of the queue featured inside all four current Star Tours attractions. These attractions are featured at Disneyland Park, located at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, Disney’s Hollywood Studios located at Walt Disney World Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, Disneyland Paris as well as Tokyo Disneyland.
experience haunted mansion holiday as it premiered in 2001 i think (to be corrected if wrong) the queue is to follow. this year did not have oogie boogie, and it also fefatured a soundtrack that was much less elfman-ish than the following years.disneyland disneyland disneyland disney’s california adventure disney’s california adventure adventureland tomorrowland fantasyland toontown magic kingdom animal epcot frontierland vintage retired yesterland old home movies great moments lincoln main street usa cinema star tours space mountain honey i shrunk the audience captain eo peoplemover mission to mars america sings innoventions skyway autopia carousel of progress matterhorn bobsleds alice in wonderland pinocchio’s daring journey peter pan’s flight snow white’s scary adventure disneyland youtube poop circarama american journeys tokyo disneyseas disneyland disneyland disneyland disney’s california adventure disney’s california adventure adventureland tomorrowland fantasyland toontown magic kingdom animal epcot frontierland vintage retired yesterland old home movies great moments lincoln main street usa cinema star tours space mountain honey i shrunk the audience captain eo peoplemover mission to mars america sings innoventions skyway autopia carousel of progress matterhorn bobsleds alice in wonderland pinocchio’s daring journey peter pan’s flight snow white’s scary adventure disneyland youtube poop circarama american journeys tokyo disneyseas

Tour both the Adventureland Bazaar and the Retired Tropical Imports Shops. This Disneyland video is from around 2003. The Tropical Imports shop used to sell you rubber snakes and shrunken and life size human skulls. It was a little macabre, but it fit into Adventureland of yesterday. I bought a life size glow in the dark skull when i was like, 10 (1985ish) man, those were the days.
The attraction was in the opening day roster of the park, and has remained open and largely unchanged in theme and story since then. Aside from alterations and maintenance changes, four completely new show scenes have been added to date. In 1995 the river channel was rerouted to make way for the queue buildings and entrance courtyard of the Indiana Jones Adventure. While the current version and most previous instances have made use of a comedic spiel, filled with intentionally bad puns, the original intent of the ride was to provide a realistic, believable voyage through the world’s jungles. The original spiel had no jokes and sounded much like the narration of a nature documentary. [edit]Attraction summary The queue and station are themed as the headquarters and boathouse of a River Expedition Company, located in a (presumably British) Colony of the 1930s. The queuing area is cluttered with appropriate props, such as pinned insects under glass, an old radio on top of the bookshelf, and a chessboard with miniature animals and decorated shotgun shells replacing the pieces. The extended queue winds upstairs, underneath an animatronic hornbill, and then downstairs again. Big band music from the 1930s plays overhead, punctuated by jungle-related news bulletins by the legendary fictional character Albert Awol, helping to reinforce the setting and threading together the show scenes and boat.[4] Once aboard the boats, the guests are introduced to their skipper and they head into …

Disneyland Opening Day in color @ Disneyland Main Street Cinema RARE NEW Disneyland Park was opened to the public on July 18, 1955 with only 20 attractions. A special “International Press Preview” event was held on Sunday, July 17, 1955, which was only open to invited guests and the media. The Special Sunday events, including the dedication, were televised nationwide and anchored by three of Walt Disney’s friends from Hollywood: Art Linkletter, Bob Cummings, and Ronald Reagan. ABC broadcast the event live on its network. The event did not go smoothly. The park was overcrowded as the by-invitation-only affair was plagued with counterfeit tickets. Only 11000 people were expected to show up, but a staggering 28154 was the eventual population. Movie stars and other famous figures scheduled to come every two hours showed up all at once. All major roads nearby were empty. The temperature was an unusually high 101 °F (38 °C), and a plumbers’ strike left many of the park’s drinking fountains dry. Disney was given a choice of having working fountains or running toilets and he chose the latter. This generated negative publicity since Pepsi sponsored the park’s opening; disappointed guests believed the inoperable fountains were a cynical way to sell soda. The asphalt that had been poured just that morning was so soft that ladies’ high-heeled shoes sank into it. Vendors ran out of food. A gas leak in Fantasyland caused Adventureland, Frontierland, and Fantasyland to close for the …
The attraction takes 87 guests at a time on a s… Added: November 20, 2007 The attraction takes 87 guests at a time on a simulated hang glider tour of the Golden State, flying over San Francisco, Redwood Creek, Napa Valley, Monterey, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, Palm Springs (actually shot in nearby La Quinta over the golf course at PGA West), Camarillo, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, San Diego, Malibu and Los Angeles. The ride ends with a flight over Disneyland at Christmas, with a Christmas parade traveling down Main Street, USA, decorations on Sleeping Beauty Castle, and fireworks. Ride design: The vehicle (called a carriage) consists of three rows of seats under a wing-like canopy. After guests have been safely restrained in the vehicle, the canopy descends and a cantilever system lifts the chairs forward and into the air with the guests’ feet dangling free. The vehicle is lifted into a huge IMAX dome movie screen onto which scenes of California are projected. Since the vehicle is moved forward into the dome, the effect is such that guests can only see the images projected on the screen and are given the sensation of flight. To enhance the illusion of flight, subtle vertical movements of the seats are synchronized to the film. According to cast members who operate this attraction, the carriages do not move horizontally. Sensations of horizontally are created via a combination of vertical carriage movement and the turning image on the screen. In addition …
view construction updates, and an inside look at the plans and the attraction model. The attraction will be set underwater. At Disney California Adventure, the building is modeled after a 20th-century aquarium. The Palace of Fine Arts replica from Golden Dreams will remain but redecorated with an Ariel statue on top.[9] A garden and water play area is planned to accompany the ride; it will be located next to the show building. In the Magic Kingdom, the building will be featured in a recreation of Prince Eric’s castle. Guests will walk across a bridge over a pond that resembles a beach with the castle on it. A statue of Ariel doing the famous pose in Part of Your World (reprise) will be featured on the left of the bridge. To the left of the attraction is an entrance labeled “Ariel’s Grotto”, suggesting that the meet-and-greet with Ariel will be moved closer to the attraction. [edit]Ride The attraction will be a dark ride, similar to Peter Pan’s Flight and Snow White’s Scary Adventures, but it will have an Omnimover ride system like the one currently in use at the Haunted Mansion. The ride will transport guests under the sea and will focus on many of the major scenes and musical numbers from the movie. Guests will ride in cars themed to resemble large seashells; one car designed for use by wheelchair guests will be themed to resemble Triton’s chariot. Characters will include Ariel, Prince Eric, King Triton, Sebastian, Flounder, and Ursula.[10] Scuttle will narrate the story …
Since 1997, Disneyland has featured “it’s a small world – happy holiday” during the end-of-the-year Christmas and holiday season. The attraction is closed in late-October to receive temporary holiday decorations inside and outside, and reopens in early-November before the start of the busy holiday tourist season. The overlay has proved very popular and at one point during its run needed the use of FASTPASS machines (which have since been removed). The attraction is the same boat voyage through many regions of the world, though the main theme song is not played fully. Instead, the children sing “Jingle Bells” and a bridge of “Deck the Halls” in addition to the main theme. The holiday overlay has since been implemented at Tokyo Disneyland with similar decorations, if not more, than the Disneyland version. From now on the Disney characters and The Spirit of America room (formerly the covered transition room) are joining in the “it’s a small world – happy holiday” at Disneyland. Disneyland Paris’s version used to add subtle decorations around the attraction and changed the music in the North American area to “Deck The Halls”. For the 2009 winter season, Disneyland Paris has added “it’s a small world celebration”, a variation of “it’s a small world – happy holiday” highlighting winter season frolic shared by people worldwide. It includes new costumes, lighting, sounds, decorations and uses the Disneyland (California) version “it’s a small world holiday” music – Jingle Bells …

Originally envisioned in the late 1950s as a walk-through wax museum featuring pirates from history, the attraction evolved into a boat ride through complex show scenes filled with Audio-Animatronics characters after the 1964 New York World’s Fair, which brought about several advances in Disney’s theme park technologies. Instead, humorous sketches of fictional pirates by Imagineer Marc Davis inspired the animatronic diorama seen throughout the final attraction. Opening on March 18, 1967, Pirates of the Caribbean was Disneyland’s largest Audio-Animatronics project to date and was the last attraction Walt Disney was involved in designing. The portrait of the female pirate above the bar in the Crews Quarters scene is an original work by Davis. The pirate captain in the scene where captured women are auctioned as brides is a test bed for updates and developments to Audio-Animatronics technology; many innovations are tried on him first. As a result, his movements are far more lifelike and expressive than virtually any other Audio-Animatronics figure in all of Disneyland.disneyland disneyland disneyland disney’s california adventure disney’s california adventure adventureland tomorrowland fantasyland toontown magic kingdom animal epcot frontierland vintage retired yesterland old home movies great moments lincoln main street usa cinema star tours space mountain honey i shrunk the audience captain eo peoplemover mission to mars america sings innoventions skyway autopia carousel …
see my short film shot in 2001. it shows how dca failed to take off. even as a new disneyland theme park, nobody would go there. all footage was shot during regular operating hours. there are some spots where you see a few people though.
This is my goodbye to one of my favorite attractions while growing up before it changes into Star Tours 2. It contains footage of the exterior, interior and the actual ride edited together to try to represent the whole Star Tours experience at Disneyland Calfiornia.

Twilight Zone references- Rod Sterling’s opening lines and appearance in the introduction video during the queue– ” Tonight’s story on The Twilight Zone is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction. This, as you may recognize is a maintanence service elevator, still in operation (and) waiting for you. We invite you if you dare to step aboard because in tonight’s episode, you are the star. And this elevator travels directly to…the Twilight Zone. ” are directly lifted from the episode It’s a Good Life. There is a display case in the exit hallway of the Tower Of Terror attraction at Disneyland that contains two items relating to the A Thing about Machines episode. One is a typewriter (with the GET OUT OF HERE FINCHLEY message); the card next to it reads “Almost Writes By Itself”. There is also an electric razor; its card reads “Has A Long Cord – Can Follow You Everywhere”. The queue at California Adventure features a reference to the Twilight Zone episode “Little Girl Lost.” Chalk marks on the wall are in the same place they were in the episode when trying to find where the portal to find the girl was. This can be found in the upper level of the boiler room next to the attraction warning signage. Periodically the girls voice can be heard calling out for help from the wall and from the radios around the boiler room. Outside the libraries at DCA, in the glass case adjacent to the doors there is a gold thimble accompanied by a card that reads, “Looking …
The Buzz Lightyear attractions are a series of attractions based on the Disney/Pixar film Toy Story 2 at Walt Disney Parks around the world. Although each ride may have a different name (as seen on the infobox to the right), all share the same plot and major characters. As each form of the attraction appeared, new technology has allowed the guest to better interact with the ride and even connect with personal computer users. The attractions use a third-generation Omnimover system, and are combination of a shooting gallery and a dark ride. The first ride featured laser guns that were not movable, but later versions featured the guns that are held in a holster and movable with the exception of a cord to keep them in the vehicle after the ride has ended. In 2005, the Walt Disney Company premiered a home version of the ride in the form of an internet video game that allows users to connect with guests at the parks. The scores of each guest from the dark ride are tallied with the internet gamer and increase the points won. There is also an attraction at Walt Disney World Resort’s DisneyQuest with the name “Buzz Lightyear’s Astroblasters”, where players ride and control cars while shooting balls at each other. The back story of the ride revolves around the attempts of Evil Emperor Zurg to steal the “crystallic fusion cells” (ie, batteries) used to power the space vehicles of the “Little Green Men.” Participants are “Star Command” raw recruits sent to defeat Zurg. The queue area …
