My daughter and I came up with the concept for the video about two years ago. We love going to the park and would just shoot a little bit at a time. This section has shots throughout that period. The interview might have been about a year ago, and then some other shots 3-6 months ago. I do have to say that the Railroad cast members are some of the best ambassadors for Disneyland. They are super helpful, friendly, and informative.

It would have been more appropriate to call the train at 2:42 the E P Ripley, not the C K Holliday, considering it’s coloring and lettering scheme.

Not to be a wet blanket, but did you obtain releases from all of these people who were “interviewed” on the DVD? It is illegal for you to use someone else image without their consent when you put it up for sale on a video and/or DVD. Other than that this looks pretty cool, but if any one of these Cast Members wanted to file suit seeking a percentage of the revenue they could unless you have a release signed by them giving up any rights to the revenue. Just don’t want you to get hurt

To CGiordano: What are you talking about boiler/firebox/flues? What does that have to do with this video? Delmonts got it right.

@thechurchmembers CGiordano got it right, really, the pipes in the boiler called flues. truely carry flame and heat to heat the boiler and the exhaust to the smokebox, in the locos back end is the firebox, where a hot fire is being burned and creates most of the heat, it is surrounded by sheets that if water loses crontract with them, the boiler explodes killing everyone in the resort. in the front end of the locos is the smokebox, where the exhaust is collected before moving up the stack.

sorry but… your diagram of how the steam train works is wrong! the bio full is fed into a fire box wich it is ignighted and that located towards the back of the boiler. then the exaust is fed threw pips wich go threw the boiler and out the smoke stack but the heat from the fire box. then exaust going threw the pipes threw the boiler make the water in the boiler make steam. then it collected at the top of the boiler and then threw the pistons. just thought i let you know.
